Here is our newest Block of the Month program! This gorgeous pieced quilt is made up of a Kona Cotton background in your choice of Black or Ivory, along with twenty-two beautiful Batik fabrics for all the pieced floral blocks and borders. Although it has the look of appliqué, it is completely quick pieced without templates! The quilt finishes to 87" x 107". Each of the ten blocks finish to 18" square, and the centre panel finishes to 18" x 38". Each month, for ten months, you will receive fabric and pattern for one block. The eleventh month you will receive fabric and pattern for the centre panel, and the twelfth month includes all fabric for the border, binding and complete assembly instructions. For easiest and best results, you'll need an Angler as well as a Clover 1/4" Fusible Bias Tape Maker and Fusible Tape. This Block of the Month is $26.00/month plus $5.00 shipping within Canada for each of twelve months + appropriate taxes. From crisp-crusted pane to lush pomodori, this series looks good enough to eat. Each block features a masterful combination of colors and textures reminiscent of terrace gardens, terra-cotta roofs, and traditional Italian ornamentation.We've selected a beautiful collection of Hoffman batik fabrics for you to create this collection. Each month for five months, you'll receive a Pine Needles Cucina Italiano pattern, quilt top and binding fabrics. Frame the blocks individually, or group them as shown here.
