Three days with Ron - the Ultimate Sewing Retreat.  Liberate those fabrics you are afraid to cut into!  With Ron by your side and you working on whatever you want, he will teach you some timesaving techniques and fitting tips for professional looking results.  All levels welcome, from beginners to extremely advanced.  If you just want to relax and have a great time, bring any sewing project your heart desires and Ron will help you overcome those trouble spots in fit and construction.  It doesn't matter if you want to work on fitting and sewing pants or jeans, create a perfect tailored jacket, sew up a jean jacket or shirt - Ron will be there by your side, every step of the way! Master Construction Techniques

Sew master techniques on a notched collar and lapel to avoid bulky and uneven seams.  Do a great side seam pocket for pants that will lay next to the body, with serged seam on the inside pockets.  Get the hands on for clean edge facings with no visible stitches, along with collar points with half the bulk.  $52 +  Kit Fee: $12.00

Master Construction Techniques for Shirts

In this workshop you will learn high end shirt techniques to get first class results with cuffs, facings, pockets and collar points for all parts of women’s blouses or men’s shirts.  Ron will share amazing information not found in pattern instructions.  $52 + Kit Fee:  $12.00

Designer Finishes

Create 17 reference samples in this information-packed class!  Do a total of 12 different seam finishes.  Seven of them are non-serged, which includes Hong Kong, Bound, Flat Fell, French and Striped, along with a great way to finish off underlined pants with a Double French Seam.  Plus, make a fake flat fell seam, reinforced seam, and a finished pressed open seam as well.  Make an unbelievable dart and pleat using one thread on your sewing machine.  Get the hands on doing a correct mitered hem and 1/4” curved hem.  $52 + Kit fee $12.00

Master a ready-to-wear technique for the notched collar…that tricky little corner where the collar joins the lapel.  Learn to achieve a beautiful, flat, smooth look that will rival any ready-to-wear suit.  Ron also shows you how machine pad stitching in the lapel gives your jacket lapel memory; and taping the roll line will prevent the lapel from stretching during pressing.  Fabulous techniques for a tailored jacket!  $52 + Kit Fee: $8.00
